You can mount the base plate directly in your bed for a permanent mount; or spend a little extra time placing the mounting plate underneath your bed; allowing you to remove your spare tire without anyone knowing it was ever there. The angled carrier is constructed using 1 1/4 in. steel tubing and MIG welded at the joints for long lasting strength and durability. The angled spare tire mount allows you to securely carry a full size spare tire up to 35 in. tall in the bed of your truck. Installation only required drilling four holes to secure one of the cleanest working sparetire carriers available.

Bolts to your existing factory spare tire mount and relocates the tire two inches up and out. Features 5x4.5 inch and 5x5.5 inch wheel bolt patterns and tough powder coated black textured finish. Caution: The tailgates on 07-12 Wrangler models are not designed to hold extra large tires. Therefore, do not use a tire larger than a 33x12.50 inch or equivalent tire with this spacer. If you want to carry a larger tire, we recommend using the XHD Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier.

The Rugged Ridge Tag Relocation Bracket takes the tag from its vulnerable pocket in the rear bumper and moves it far from harm, mounted securely and visibly on the spare tire carrier. Sturdy all-steel construction stands up to the rigors of off-road driving, while full adjustability allows for a wide variety of tire widths and offsets.
